For
Sale (posted June 8, 2010): Austin
Healey Bugeye Sprite – Serial # AN5L 28946. Not sure whether it is a 59 or 60. I don’t have a title but can provide
one or just a bill of sale. I have checked and verified that the serial number is clean. The vehicle could be running without
a huge amount of work. This is a
project car. Here are the good parts: - 99% complete car
including lots of bits usually missing such as the jack, hoop kit, side screens etc.
- Complete, running, rebuilt and low mileage 948 engine (Morris block). Can also supply either a 1100 or 1275 engines.
- Complete rebuilt and low mileage smooth case transmission.
Can also supply a ribcage transmission.
- Speedo and Tach freshly
rebuilt and never installed in the vehicle
- Correct ventilated
wheels – powder coated the correct silver
Here are the not so good parts: - Body has some/fair
amount of rust and bondo but I have seen a lot lot worse! Body requires a complete restoration but worth investing it. Completely
restored Bugeyes have substantially appreciated but have retained their values even with the current economy. Nice ones regularly
sell at auctions in the high teens and even the low 20’s.
$3,000 or best offer. Contact Bill at 801 860 6975 or gbrovers@aol.com (4/25/10)
